Obituary
Born Friday, September 4, 1931 in Kennedy, Alabama to the late Mr. Burby Leonard and Mrs. Elease Walden Leonard, he is preceded in death by his parents, Burby and Elease Leonard, his wife; Mrs. Vera Faye Leonard, sons; James Leonard, Richard Leonard, and sister; Linda Kelly.
He was a member of Liberty Assembly of God.
Surviving are son, Tony Leonard, daughter, Anita Leonard, brothers, Olen Leonard and Marvin Leonard; 6 grand children; 13 great grand children.
A Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, February 11, 2018 at Dowdle Funeral Home. Interment will be in Higdon Cemetery, Kennedy, AL.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Sunday, February 11, 2018, at Dowdle Funeral Home, Millport, Alabama.
Pall Bearers will be, Michael Leonard, James Leonard, Waymon Byars, Clarence Byars, Dwight Wharton, Jerrell Spruill. Honorary Pall Bearers are men of Liberty Assembly of God.
