Viola Little, 93, of Kennedy, AL, passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2026. There will be a funeral service on Friday, July 17, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Dowdle Funeral Home with Bro. Jeff Long officiating. There will be a visitation one hour prior to the service from 10:00-11:00 a.m. in the chapel. Burial will follow at Higdon Cemetery in Kennedy, AL.

Viola was born on November 18, 1932, to the late Henry and Icie Campbell in Lamar County, Alabama. She was a life-long resident of Lamar County. She loved yard sales, gospel music and family.

She is survived by her daughters, Rita Bittle (Bubba), Fay Mosher (Dave), Angela Hood (Bryan); son, Kenneth Leon Johnson; sisters, Mae Burks, Frances Nabors, Marie Cantrell, and Claudean.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Leon Johnson; parents, Henry and Icie Campbell; and her brother, Waylon Campbell.
