Virginia Patrick, 82, of Millport, Alabama, passed away on January 28, 2022 at her residence. Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 30, 2022  at 2:00 p.m.at Dowdle Funeral Home in Millport, Alabama with Bro. Ed Nabors officating. Visitation will be from 1:00- 2:00 p.m. in the chapel.Burial will follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery in Millport, AL..

She was a loving wife for 56 years and loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother to all of her children.She raised her children while working in the garment factory until becoming a NA until retirement. She spent all of her life providing all she could for the ones needing her in any way. She loved the Lord and her church family dearly.She was Nanny Gin to all who knew her and was loved by everyone. She also had a special great granddog named Honey.

She is preceded in death by her husband Golden Patrick, her parents , Emmett and Clara Gilmore, her brothers, John Gilmore, James Gilmore, and Leon Gilmore, her sisters, Helen Gill, Linda Brack, and Glad Gray.

She is survived by her three children, Mike Patrick, Debra Patrick, and Jeff Patrick, her grandchildren, Ashlee Swedenburg, Allen Swedenburg (Ginny), and Casey Patrick Seay (Adam), her great grandchildren , Chipper Swedenburg, Ellie Swedenburg, Addison Seay, and Cameron Seay, brothers, Bud Gilmore, Bobby Gilmore, and Dale Gilmore, sisters, Sue Merchant, Biddie Cantrell, and Mary Ann Stapp.

Pallbearers will be Ashlee Swedenburg, Allen Swedenburg, Keith Swedenburg, Mitch McGee, Jake Fowler, and Bit Burleson.
