Willie Aldridge
Millport, Ala. — Willie Joe Aldridge, 77, died March 22, 2015, at Fayette Medical Center Long Term Care. Services are 2 p.m. today at Dowdle Funeral Home Chapel in Millport, Alabama. Burial will follow at Springhill Baptist Cemetery in Millport. Visitation is today from 1-2 p.m. at the funeral home chapel. Mr. Aldridge was born Jan. 23, 1938, in Kennedy, Alabama, to the late Grady Lee and Ethel Coleman Aldridge. He graduated from Millport High School and served in the U.S. Navy. He was a member of Millport Baptist Church and formerly employed as a salesman. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lavern McCullough Aldridge. He is survived by his brother, Theron Aldridge.
