Willie "Nell" Howard, 89, died Oct. 26, 2015 in Buchanan, GA. Services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Dowdle Funeral Home with Tim Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to service. Mrs. Howard was born Oct. 2, 1926, to the late Homer Newell and Beulah Mae Tomlin Newell in Millport, Alabama. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Loy C. Howard; daughter, Donna K. Howard; and son, Loy Steven Howard. She is survived by her sons, Michael Howard and William David Howard; sisters, Ann Spann, Dorothy Davis and Teresa Johnson;seven grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.
