Willie B. Woolbright, 98, formerly of Millport, AL, more recently of Columbus, MS, passed away at Baptist Memorial Hospital on August 5, 2021. Funeral services will be Saturday, August 7, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Dowdle Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jimmy Ray and Bro. Cameron Moore officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Kennedy, AL. under the direction of Dowdle Funeral Home.

Willie B. was born on September 23, 1922, in Millport, AL, to Francis Ollie Bobbitt and Maudie Tipton Bobbitt. Willie B. was known for her dancing and she loved to dance up and down the halls of the nursing home at Trinity. She loved to sing Elvira and she loved to praise the Lord. She loved to work in the yard and she also loved her family very much.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, Johnie Swink and Stacy Woolbright, a daughter, Janice Whitten, a son, Rayford Swink, her sisters, Olivia Johnson, Jay Woolbright and Valeena Gann, her brothers, Leon Bobbitt and David Bobbitt, and her grandson Bennie Joe Whitten Jr.

She survived by a step daughter, Linda Sue Pitts (Ed), step son, Breman Woolbright (Judy), her brothers, Max Bobbitt (Martha) and Mark Bobbitt (Beddie), 3 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-garndchildren.

Pallbearers will be Bennie Joe Whitten Mitch Swink, Wesley Swink, Sean Woolbright, Shay Woolbright and Cameron Moore.
